India started the tri-series-the CB series 2012 by losing to Australia by 65 runs. Realizing that they have to make an extra effort to win their next game, MS and company registered their first victory on this tour over Sri-Lanka giving boost to Team India players. Some ray of hope seen through this series gave confidence to Team India who went on winning its next match against Australia with the help of the captain cool M.S. Dhoni who stole the limelight with his terrific batting. The third game against Sri Lanka which was a tie, gave a signal to the critics of India that India was never a side who lost confidence after a series loss.
One of the star performers of this series so far is Gautam Gambhir. Although he failed to notch up a century he has definitely made selectors happy. His scores in 90s in the consecutive matches have definitely given Indian innings a good foundation to step up on.
The only thing to worry is the Indian middle order which yet again failed to make a mark in this series. Selectors may have to try out different options for Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma to bring stability to middle order. With Ravindra Jadeja not being impressive so far, Manoj Tiwary may get a chance to show his talent and fix his spot in playing XI.
About Bowlers-
R. Vinay Kumar when entered into playing XI not many believed that he may become the find of the tour. With Umesh Yadav accompanying him with a great display of his bowling performance, the duo showed the world that the speed still exists in Indian Cricket Team.
With Umesh Yadav running with a speed of 140-150 kmph has given India a new fast bowler which was a missing element from so many years in Indian Team.
From the current situation it looks like India is returning to its old form and will go to the top of the table at the end of the series winning it in style.

Too good! First blog and good confident start!.. Keep it up ...!
